So Long Arletta: Kyle - vocals, Marshall - Lead Guitar, Try Hard - Rhythm Guitar, Johnson - Drums, Aaron - Bass Guitar LAS Media: For people who don't know, where did you guys come up with the name So Long Arletta? SLA: "So Long Arletta" comes from a line in the movie "Cool Hand Luke" LAS Media: How did you guys start making music? SLA: We started making music by strumming guitars, beating drums, and testing our vocal chords. LAS Media: What was your favorite live show you've ever played. Who are some of the bands you've played with? SLA: This little Coffee Shop ironically our favorite show. Small crowd but dedicated fans. Every band we play with we love, otherwise we wouldn't play with em'! LAS Media: Who are some of your musical influences and favorite bands? SLA: Blink-182 LAS Media: What is the best live show you guys have ever seen? SLA: Best live show would be a number for Kyle - Papa Roach, Marshall - Maroon 5, Try Hard - Mayday Parade, Johnson - Lucero, Aaron - Midtown LAS Media: What are your favorite songs right now? SLA: Kyle - You Oughta Know by Das Racist, Marshall - Black and Yellow Remix by DJ Kue, Try Hard - Your Love by The Outfield, Johnson - its on his facebook right now, he doesn't know what its called, Aaron - Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons LAS Media: You guys are playing the full Warped Tour 2011 set. How awesome is that and how do you think it help you guys as a band? SLA: its just plain awesome. enough said. we're stoked. LAS Media: Do you guys have any plans for a new record coming out ?
